This indicator consolidates the difference between the amount of payments for exported and imported goods, its increase is a positive factor for the national currency. The trade balance is expected to correct from –3.73B Canadian dollars to –3.63B Canadian dollars. Implementation of the forecast may still put pressure on the position of the national currency.
