The indicator measures the degree of consumer confidence in the strength of the economy and is a leading indicator for consumer spending. The value is expected to decrease from –19.0 points to –20.0 points. If the forecast proves right, the pound may fall under pressure.

The Manufacturing PMI is expected to rise from 48.5 points to 48.6 points, but will remain in the stagnation zone, while the Services PMI will probably decrease from 53.3 points to 53.0 points. If the forecast proves right, the yen may fall under pressure.
