NULS is a blockchain project based on microservices founded by a Singaporean team. It applies the proof-of-credit consensus mechanism (dPoS plus credit rating) to mine tokens via staking. The project was launched in September 2017. NULS 1.0 mainnet was established in July 2018.
NULS was established to solve the following blockchain problems:
- Difficulty: In order to deploy smart contracts on one of the existing blockchains, a developer has to be equipped with deep programming knowledge. Many projects are ruined because of this.
- Lack of flexibility.
- Low network bandwidth: For instance, Bitcoin has difficulties with transaction confirmation. Sometimes, users had to wait for hours. Many transactions remained unconfirmed.
NULS solves all of the above-mentioned problems:
- The modular structure should make it much easier for a developer to work with the blockchain. To deploy a smart contract on NULS, they only need basic programming skills.
- The modular structure also solves the problem of blockchain flexibility.
- The use of parallel expansion technology allows for increasing the speed of transactions up to millions per second.
NULSTAR, a framework built on microservices, enables enterprise-grade blockchain solutions for smart contracts, public and private chains, decentralized applications and NRC-20 tokenization. NULS' flagship product is Chain Factory. It's a tool built on a chain that enables businesses to use a plug-and-play choice of modules from the NULS Module Repository, including cross-chain consensus for circulation of the asset value within the ecosystem.
The project has its own token, NULS, used for settlements between participants of the network and reward payments to network participants. As the NULS project is built on the Ethereum blockchain, its governance token is ERC20.
You can trade the NUL/USD pair on the LiteFinance platform. Trading is provided via a contract-for-difference instrument. CFD trading allows you to deal with the NUL/US dollar pair regardless of the value of NULS to USD.
Risk warning: Trading in FX and CFDs entails high risk of losing capital.
