Theta is a decentralized network for video streaming that is based on blockchain. The mainnet aims to develop a network that will overcome the disadvantages of the video streaming industry, including poor infrastructure and high costs. The total supply is limited to 1,000,000,000 tokens. The token is shared between network participants, the Theta team, and a reserve pool.

Thus, THETA holders can vote on the development of the mainnet. At the same time, TFUEL powers transactions. TFUEL works the way gas does on Ethereum. The total supply is capped at 5,000,000,000 tokens.
